How Do You Remove A Scar?

For the past five days, my 22-month old grand daughter has been asking me to remove a tiny scar on her right foot. She'd lift up her foot, and then guide my hand to the twinny scar. My inability to accomplish that feat usually results in tears and protest.

You see, it's the first scar on her body. It wasn't even from a wound. It's from a tiny scratch. She's becoming more aware of her body. She knows that scar is not part of her.

So please help me - how do you remove a scar???

Everyone, young or old has scars. Even the tweeny new born baby has a scar - the umbilical cord. As the baby grows, life's darts, arrows, spears, bullets, hurl many wounds which heal to become scars. As long as you are in the world, scars of many forms will be yours because life is not fair. Scars from your personal wrong choices; scars from enemies; scars from frenemies; scars from circumstances; the list is endless.

Turn your scars to stars.

Those wounds are not meant to undo you.Your unrealized expectations should not turn you into a failure. Your wrong choices do not necessarily define you because there's always room for you to choose aright again.

Most importantly, God loves you. He has a plan for your life. If you will, those plans will come to fruition if you cooperate with Him and surrender your ways to His leading.

You will carry the scars life's adversities give you to the grave. Some scars you see, some scars are deep, oblivious to physical eyes but they are still scars.

I adjoin you to never give up on yourself, your hope and trust in God Almighty. He will give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for the spirit of heaviness. Arise from the ashes. Let His light shine upon you. Cry unto Him. His ears are attentive to you. He is the God of all flesh. There's nothing impossible for Him to do. There 's no situation that He cannot change.

With God's help and your faith in Him, turn your scars to stars. Amen.
